Several coach services connect Akaroa with Christchurch, the main centre in the South Island of NZ. Just 1 hour 15 minutes drive by car from the centre of the city on Highway 75 brings you to the heart of the town. Take longer and travel the scenic Summit Road route to Gebbies Pass and then past the Hill Top to Akaroa. Which ever way you choose, you'll find it a diverse and interest journey.

To find the Lodge rooms, continue on the main road into town past the beach, swinging left after the Fire Station and continue up Rue Jolie. Continue past the School towards the Medical Centre. Our rooms are on the right, near the top or the road, just before the entrance to the Garden of Tane scenic reserve.
